jLUTs, the iOS Photo Editing app for iPhone and iPad for quickly applying professional looks via LUTs, as well as de-logging Pro industry Camera stills, lovingly made by myself, a music video director, DOP and Colourist.

What makes this app unique from others? Finally apply professional LUTs (look up tables)!
These are not cheesy filters, but rather colour transforms the same way professional photographers and colourists do for films, music videos, commercials and magazines.

These LUT filters are created by hand using industry standards for color harmony and pleasing results, often used in actual commercials/films/ music videos! jLUTs includes the popular Teal & Orange variations for the “summer blockbuster movie look”

We have also included Pro Camera de-Log LUTs for Arri, Red, Black Magic, DJI, Canon, Sony and Panasonic for on set quick de-logging for directors and DIT’s.

There are many other standard tools to use for image editing, but also some unique powerful tools including skin smoothing using superior High pass smoothing which retains fine details, film grain, de-noise, lens leaks and more.

There are 60 LUTs in 3 sections.

The “Film” section has 20 customised “Film Print” LUTs to transform colour into film print colour used in mainstream films, commercials, music videos and print.

The “Looks” section has 20 looks for interesting and appealing variations of colour grades that I’ve made specifically for iOS pics.

The “deLog” section has deLog transforms for Pro Camera’s where a DIT can give the director the unprocessed log still frames from footage, the director can de-log the still to rec709 and then edit the still with all the tools available and apply looks from all the LUTs available.

The “Film Grain Tool” adds REAL film grain scanned from REAL film.

The “Blur Tool” adds a blur effect, with added control of where you’d like your image to remain clear using a mask that can be placed/expanded/rotated wherever you’d like.

The “Zoom Blur Tool” adds the zoom blur or warp speed effect, with added control of where you’d like your image to remain clear using a mask that can be placed/expanded/rotated wherever you’d like.
